Certifications:

Manual handling training certificate: This certificate verifies that the participant has completed the manual handling training program, demonstrating their understanding of safe lifting and handling techniques in accordance with Irish regulations.

    Our manual handling course is designed to provide comprehensive training in convenient and accessible manner. The course content includes the following components:

    Theoretical Training: Participants will receive in depth instruction on the principles of manual handling, including the anatomy of the spine, risk assessments, and the legal obligations under Irish law.

    Practical Training: Hands on training sessions will be conducted to demonstrate proper lifting and handling techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to practice these techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors.

    Risk assessment: Participants will learn how to assess manual handling tasks in their workplace to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks effectively.

    Ergonomics: Understanding proper ergonomics and work station set up prevent musculoskeletal injuries and strains related to manual handling activities.

    Legislation and regulations: A thorough review of Irish legislation, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, as it pertains to manual handling, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

    Certification Award: Successful participants will receive the Manual Handling Training Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
