This Chain Sling Assembly is a 2 Leg 8mm Grade 80 chain with the following options:

  • Sling (Latch Lock) Hooks (click for link)
  • Self Locking (Safety) Clevis Hooks (click for link)
  • The option for Grab Hooks (shortening hooks) YES/NO
  • Total “Effective” Length from 1M up to 8Mtrs

There are also handy 1.5M & 2.5M half length options included but as always, if you want a custom/bespoke length chain made just get in touch with us.

40KN (4000kg) capacity each chain (8Tonne capacity per set of 2)

8mm Tie Down Chain & Binder includes: 

  • 1x Chain (at your preferred length) – 1M to 7M (contact us for custom size)
  • 1x Ratchet Load Binder Grade 80 (Load Tensioner) *Binder is long-handle version as standard (Please contact us if you require Short Handle)
  • Your choice of Hooks on the ends of chain – option to change hooks (or even choose No Hook on one end) to suit the type of securing point used:
  • Your Hook Options are: Grab Hook, Self Locking Safety Clevis or Sling Hook

Commonly used to Tie-Down Plant Machinery considered “high risk loads” such as excavators, dumpers, and more.

Our most commonly sold set in 8mm (40KN) = 4mtr chains with Grab Hooks on both ends. Most customers with Small Plant Trailers require this length, but your chain will be made specifically to your order including your selection of hooks on each end and the length of the chains.
