These qualifications are requirements for Professional Users to operate chainsaws in Ireland.
If you do this qualification you will be assessed on the following:
Understanding of relevant health and safety and industry good practice.
Ability to promote health and safety and industry good practice
Understanding of how to set up and operate a MEWP
Ability to set up and operate a MEWP in accordance with industry good practice and the operator’s manual.
Understanding of how to deal with emergency situations affecting operators working from a MEWP.
Understanding of how to operate a chainsaw from a MEWP.
Ability to prepare a MEWP for transport.
